Ever since I was a little kid, I've been involved in some form of artistic creation. Whether it be painting, drawing, sculpting, dance, theater, music, or something else, I've always had a drive to create. I found my niche in film and video production, and when I finished film school, I became a full-time video editor.

Although my job itself is creative, I found myself craving some more tangible results from my creativity. I started getting interested in cosplay and clothing making, and made several things for myself, including outfits, cosplay accessories, and jewelry. The more I did it, the better I got at it, and the more inspired I became with new ideas for designs and creations. Something needed to happen.

In November of 2012, I opened my Etsy shop, with just a few rings made from computer motherboards and polymer clay skulls. I had so much fun making them that I immediately started hunting for more interesting crafting materials and treasures to expand my inventory. My favorites are clock gears, interesting, antique settings, and tiny mirrors, but I'm constantly finding new things to make into beautiful, wearable art.

I love that Etsy gives me an outlet for the side of my creativity that I can't use at my day job. It's a great place to display and share my creations, and give me an excuse to get off my butt and make all of the ideas that pop into my head.
